Born on 29/11/1997 at Mangu, Plateau, Nigeria, Muayyat Billah also known as Algorismos is a self taught Software Engineer, a Researcher and Entrepreneur in the field of Artificial Intelligence, FinTech, HealthTech and EdTech.
Early life
Muayyat Billah was born in Mangu on 29th day of November 1997 to Nazir Adam Abdullahi and Ruqayya Muhammad. He is the third child of the family. His father is a prominent islamic scholar and his mother a teacher of islamic studies.
Muayyat started interacting with devices and computers at the age of 9 and by the age of 15 he was a programmer.
He attended Audi Musa primary school and completed his primary education at Ekan primary school in the same town. He then got admitted to Mangu Secondary School in the year 2007 where he studied sciences in the High School. At 15, he got admitted into Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University to study Electrical and Electronics Engineering until 2020 when he and a colleague founded Insolify after relocating to Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria.
During his stay at the University, he has participated in a few Entrepreneurship activities and programs.
Career
Muayyat Billah started as a mobile website developer in 2011 where he developed mobile website for his friends to download java mobile phone apps.
By 2017 he was building simple eCommerce platform for small business and was a Shopify partner helping entrepreneurs customize and launch their online stores.
By 2018 he was working as a developer with a Connecticut based online store that sells shoes across the United states and at the same time working with a Kuwaiti online jewellery merchant store.
Insolify
By the end of 2019, Billah and some of his friends decided to work full-time for a technological company based in Jos, Plateau, where they relocated and started working until when Covid -19 and lockdown forced Muayyat to leave for a while and by September their contract with the company ended and they relocated to Abuja.
Insolify was founded towards the end of 2020 as a software solutions providing company with Billah as the Senior Software Engineer building software for small businesses. The company has kept growing and expanding its market across EdTech, FinTech and HealthTech.
Software
Muayyat Billah has developed several software solutions for businesses ranging from invoicing system, CRM, CMS, eCommerce, SMS and most of the software at Insolify including the main company’s platform.
He has also participated in developing custom software for Enterprises across the globe.
Research
He is actively a researcher in the field of Artificial Intelligence, HealthTech, EdTech, CyberSecurity, FinTech and Entrepreneurship authoring a handful of papers, research items and articles in affiliation to notable organisations and institutions.
He publishes, asks and respond to research items on Open Science, Publons and other researchers platforms.
Entrepreneurship
Billah is a Software Engineer, Entrepreneur, speaker, writer and Consultant for Tech startups and establishments.
His works has helped young entrepreneurs develop scalable models that grew into successful businesses.
Occasionally, he analyses failed businesses and bankruptcies to come up with reasonable factors that led to them and how upcoming Entrepreneurs can avoid such problems.
